3 Stars Doesn’t go in a direct line
The music and sounds of this toy are great, it gets baby’s attention. Baby loves pulling the animals off the line and rolling them around. However, this only last a few minutes. Also, the toy will not go in a direct line. Ever. Period. It must be because the monkey on top is driving drunk. This is an OK toy. Baby plays with it a little, but it is far from his favorite. You may want to pick something else that is more useful.

5 Stars We LOVE this game!
My twin daughters got this game when they were 6 (1st grade), and they LOVE it! Yes, the questions vary in difficulty, but that’s o.k. because the adults will beat the kids on the trivia part, but the kids will beat the adults on the memory part. This game is part trivia and part memory (like the memory game), so everyone has a chance to win. Even when my daughters don’t know the answer to the question, they are still learning. I’m sure they will remember the answer the next time it comes around (we haven’t repeated any questions yet). This is a great game for elementary-aged children and their parents.
2 Stars 3rd to 5th Grade Kids Who Are Animal Fanatics Will LIke This Game
If you have lots of kids who are all in the 3rd to 5th grade and LOVE animals and know a lot of trivia and facts about animals, they will enjoy this game. However if you have younger kids and adults want to play, it’s not that much fun.
The problem is they should have divided out the questions for pre-1st, 2nd to 4th, and then adults so it’s more fun for everyone but they didn’t and the questions are total random in their degree of difficulty from questions about animal size comparison to invertibrates … questions that a 5-year old will not understand to ones that adults would find boring.
6 people can play, you pick an animal card to represent you, roll the die - land on paw prints to answer questions. If you land on a “wild” space, you can challenge another player - again, what might be okay for 9-years old playing each other - it’s difficult for an adult to play - you going to challenge a 6-year old on animal trivia and if they lose, they lose some of their card points? How exactly are you going to feel there? What kind of family celebrates an adult triumphing over a kid and takes part of their points/cards away?
Plus the cards are hard to earn, after you answer a question right, you turn over three of the square pieces with animal photos and if it’s a match, you keep them (of course, you have to pay attention to others turning over cards to remember the match) but again, unless all the players are about 8-9 years old, it’s unfair for adults to challenge or take away points from kids - what’s the fun in that? It’s one thing if you roll a dice and you lose something or by landing in a square but to have an adult ask a kid a question about gestation and shout WRONG - I’ll take away your hard earned cards and points? So, unless you have 6 kids all about the same age playing this, this is NOT a game families or anyone with younger than 6 yar old kids can play without it resorting to hurt feelings.
So, while the board is nicely manuafactured and it’s fine if you have 4-6 kids the same age who can challenge each other and if they all like animals, it’s NOT a game families can actually play along without lots of hurt feelings … plus the inherent randomness and wide degrees of difficulty in the questions.
They need to go back and rethink this. The questions are fine but divide and color code by age … then just simply have them travel around the board so they head away from storms and towards food or something - anything is better than designing a game where adults can shout to a 4-year old - ha-ha, you’re wrong - give me your animal pieces! Games shoudl encourage togetherness within a family and not mock mental acuity of a 4-year old - it’s just wrong.
4 Stars Fun game
This is a great game. My 7 year old son loves it. There is one little thing, it only comes with 4 stacks of trivia cards. We have played the game 4 times and we went through all of the cards. Now we pretty much know all of the answers. It still is loads of fun and very educational.

4 Stars Grandson loves it!
This was a birthday present for my 1 year old grandson and he loves it. The animals, the bright colors and the music, all attract his attention.
4 Stars Not worth $50
My son likes this toy. But I think its a little too mature for him (he is 6 months). He just likes the music and grabs the penguin. When he is older maybe he’ll actually put the animals on the ramp and actually “play” with it. I got it on clearance at Target, it’s really cute but all things considered I wouldn’t pay full price for it.
3 Stars Terrible music, but otherwise okay
My mother bought this for my 14 mo old son. He’s been surprisingly captivated by it, since he’s very mobile and this toy is not. He likes to move the little wheeled animals around away from the base. We haven’t had it long enough to assess its durability, nor how long it will be interesting to him.
The real problem is the music. It’s what my husband calls “a demoralizer.” I appreciate the volume control (high/low, not variable), but I’d like to see a “music off but lights and movement on” sort of option. The songs are awful, the voice is extremely irritating. We’ve got a lot of music makers in my son’s toy selection, but this one might “lose” its batteries quickly.
5 Stars Fun and durable toy
Our 9 month old daughter received this toy for Christmas, and she has already gotten a lot of use out of it. It does a great job of keeping her entertained. I also like that it has options. She can play with the different animals in different ways, and even make up new ways. I feel it allows her to be more creative. The music is cute, and the colors are great. She has also flipped it over, kicked it, and dropped things on it, none of which has caused any damage - very durable.
5 Stars Fisher Price Musical Zoo - Great Fun!
I purchased this toy for my grandson, who is just shy of 4 months, for Christmas. For tummy time, he LOVES to look at the spinning animals and hear the sounds. We sit and touch the animals as I describe each one. Truly a great toy. I can’t wait for him to sit on his own and actually play with this on his own in a few months.

5 Stars A must have for any child!!!
I purchased this for my grandson after he played with one where I work. My boss had bought this for her grandson, but only brought in the front part of the train and no animals. My grandson was so excited when he saw the rest of the train months later. We put his snacks or bottle in the train and send it on its way and my grandson excitingly goes after it laughing all the way. What a wonderful toy! I have four kids and wish we had this for them when they were little. My boss found her train at Costco for under $25 where I had to pay almost $70 to get this hard to find item. It was well worth it and will keep it for all my grandkids to come.
3 Stars Cute, fun and durable but super annoying
We bought this toy for our 6 month old son with Amazon’s “Frustration Free Packaging” which rocks, so much less hassle and trash. Our son (and us) adores the giraffe and elephant with their clicking, clacking and turning body parts as well as the rattling monkey. The train itself is really durable and cute and he has fun with the animal sounds too. Unfortunately this toy is super annoying in one regard and has a major draw back. You can not make the train go forward or make the animal sounds without the music portion being on which is the most annoying woman singing over and over. So it’s sort of all or nothing. I believe music is so educational but it does not have to be so nerve grating. So we’ll probably keep the animals and donate the train itself.
3 Stars Nice Toy If It Worked
Unfortunately the toy never worked correctly and we bought it brand new. This item should be purchased at a retail location instead of through the mail for ease of returning if needed. It plays music fine but has never moved across the floor like it should. I’m a little disappointed about the quality but it’s a cute toy and my one year old likes to push the smokestack to play the music and the animals are cute.
5 Stars Choo Choo
My one year old received it for Christmas, he was 10 months old at the time. He loves this! Loves to crawl and now run after the train, he picks it up explores everything it does. This toy has not even reached its full potential yet for him and is a huge hit!
5 Stars Awesome!
I got it for my 11 months old nephew. He has a lot of fun with this toy. Sometimes he dances to the music other times he tries to catch it following it on his knees. I highly recommend it!
